Our areas of interest
In the context of serious threats and loss of global biodiversity, our research group aims to usemolecular biology methodsto evaluate changes in biodiversity composition, community structure, and their response patterns to environmental and human disturbances.
We will applyenvironmental DNA and macro barcode technology:
- Assess the composition, changes, mechanisms of biodiversity formation, and ecological impacts of human activities in aquatic ecosystems;
- Explore the nutritional cascade regulation of food webs by top predators and the coexistence mechanism of carnivores.
